Undercover Black Man has a little bit of information about the final season of The Wire here. We already knew that the final season was going to concentrate on the press in the same way that season four concentrated on schools. Now we know that the season will be only 10 episodes -- to the standard 13 for most HBO shows -- and, according to David Mills, funnier than previous seasons. I thought last season -- particularly the Herc stuff -- was intermittently hilarious. -- Peter
