Jake 2.0 premieres on Sci Fi tonight, in a three-hour bloc, from 8:00 to 11:00. Not sure what game Sci Fi is playing -- they may be trying to burn off episodes or they may just be desperate to cover the gap left by Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who. Anyway . . .
You may have missed Jake 2.0 when it premiered on UPN in 2003 -- yeah, just like Veronica Mars, only a lot less fortunate -- and limped along through 12 episodes. Christopher Gorham plays a guy who accidentally gets upgraded to superhero by ingesting a mess of nanobots. I've only seen the pilot, but buzz on the rest of the series (16 episodes in total, including 4 never aired in the U.S.) is very favorable. -- Pete
