I've had a headache since about Friday, trying to figure out how I'm going to watch tonight's season finale of 24 (two hours), series finale of Alias (two hours) and very special episode of Everwood (mercifully, only one). I can do it, but it requires two VCRs and streaming video. (Note: ABC's free streaming video actually doesn't suck at all -- decent quality and speed, minimal advertising.)
My prediction is that the body count is going to be high tonight. I'm already composing a handful of obituaries in my head and I expect to be using this space to deliver them tomorrow. Let's see if I'm right. Without having read any spoilers, I say that Audrey Raines, Jack Bristow, Arvin Sloane and Bright Abbott are all going out tonight, and they will not be the only casualties.
Killing off major characters really is the constructing compelling plot points of the new millennium. The body count on last night's interminable Desperate Housewives finale was pretty high, too.
