I can't deal with how much I liked the 8th & Ocean premiere. It hurts me, I liked it so much. Here are some highlights, in no particular order:
The blonde twins are named after the two brunettes from Charlie's Angels. Throughout the episode, Sabrina, the sadder and less confident of the twins has to wear an ugly baseball cap and a kelly green warm-up jacket to distinguish herself from her sister, even though Kelly is her sister.
Irene Marie, the proprietor of the eponymous modeling agency, seems to be Hell-bent on crushing poor Sabrina's spirit. Also, she looks like one of my sister's Barbie dolls, after that one time we let it get too close to the barbecue.
Teddy, one of the three boy models who live (coincidence?) in the same apartment complex as the six girl models, appears to wear a lot of mascara, even when he's just sitting around playing Playstation with his roommates, even when he's sunbathing -- in jeans.
The girl roommates taught Britt, the home-schooled girl from Kansas City, how to dance, because she had never danced before moving into the model house. It wasn't Footloose, but it'll do.
Sons & Daughters was almost unwatchable: treacly and not at all funny.
